Choi leads; Ochoa not far behind

Na Yeon Choi holds a one shot lead after carding a three-under par 68 in the first round of the US Women's Open.

Starting on the back nine in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Choi birdied the first three holes and then added another on the fifth to take an early advantage, but a pair of bogies on the way back prevented the South Korean from building a bigger advantage.

Choi sits one shot ahead of the trio of top-ranked Loreno Ochoa, Cristie Kerr, and Jean Reynolds.

Another South Korean, Hee Young Park, carded a 70 to sit fifth, the only other player to finish the day under par.
