Harrington finds form at last

Only three players are under par at the halfway stage of the Irish PGA Championship.

Played at the European Club south of Dublin, the best of the trio is Padraig Harrington.

Desperate to build confidence after five successive missed cuts in Europe and America, Harrington added a 70 on Thursday to his opening 68 to be four under and one ahead of Dundalk's Leslie Walker.

For the past two years Harrington has used the event for links practice and has taken the title before going on to Open Championship glory.
