Wade Heats up to beat Nets

Dwyane Wade nailed a buzzer-beating three-pointer to lift the Miami Heat to an 81-80 victory over the winless New Jersey Nets.

With the Nets only using eight players due to an injury glut, they were on course for their first win of the season after Brook Lopez's tip-in with four ticks left.

But Wade struck with 0.1 seconds left in a dramatic finish.

LeBron James and Mo Williams had 21 points each and JJ Hickson added 20 as the Cleveland Cavaliers overcame the absence of Shaquille O'Neal to beat the Utah Jazz 107-103.

Carlos Boozer had 25 points and Eric Maynor 24 for the Jazz.

Brandon Jennings exploded for 55 points as the Milwaukee Bucks came back to beat the Golden State Warriors 129-125.

Jennings, a rookie, had 29 points in the third quarter alone, and scored 15 straight as the Bucks overturned a nine-point deficit to make it four wins in a row.

The Indiana Pacers came back from a nine-point deficit to beat the Boston Celtics 113-104 behind 29 points from Danny Granger.

Ray Allen led Boston with 24, while Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett had 15 each.

Detroit's off-season acquisitions continued to repay their new bosses as Ben Gordon had 29 points and Charlie Villanueva 25 in a 106-103 victory over the Washington Wizards.

Earl Boykins, who only joined the Wizards on Wednesday and was playing his first game in over a year, had 20 points in the losing effort.

Tim Duncan and Tony Parker both returned but the San Antonio Spurs lost 101-98 to an Oklahoma City Thunder team inspired by 25 points from Kevin Durant.

Duncan had 22 point and 10 rebounds, while Parker had 17 points but missed a three-pointer at the death that could have forced overtime.

Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich scored 19 points each to lead six Chicago Bulls in double figures as they beat the Philadelphia 76ers 94-88.

Marc Gasol got the Memphis Grizzlies out of a seven-game losing streak as he collected 17 points and 16 rebounds in a 97-87 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have now lost 10 straight games,

Brandon Roy scored 25 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to an 80-74 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, while Joe Johnson's 26 helped the Atlanta Hawks beat the New Orleans Hornets 121-98.
