Goteborg held to goalless draw

IFK Goteborg saw their lead at the top of the Swedish Allsvenskan cut to a single point after the leaders had to settle for a 0-0 draw at Halmstad.

Despite winning all seven home games, Goteborg have now picked up just seven from a possible 18 points on their travels and second-placed Elfsborg kept up the pressure with a 3-0 win over bottom club Orgryte IS.

The visitors' realistic hopes of claiming their first points away from home at the seventh attempt ended in the 29th minute when Stefan Ishizaki struck to give the home side the lead.

English striker James Keene doubled the lead before the break and Emir Bajrami wrapped up a comfortable win three minutes from time, leaving Orgryte rooted nine points adrift at the bottom of the table.

Two goals from Rasmus Elm helped Kalmar FF come from behind for a 2-1 win at Malmo which moved them up to fifth. Wilton Fugueiredo gave Malmo a 33rd-minute lead before Elm struck in the 49th and 90th minutes.
