Top seed Francesca Schiavone continued her recent good form to move into the quarter-finals of the ECM Prague Open.
Schiavone scored a 6-2 6-2 win over Slovenia's Polona Hercog and was joined in the last eight by second seed Sybille Bammer, who had an even easier time of things as she beat young Russian Alla Kudryavtseva 6-1 6-1.
Fourth seed Carla Suarez Navarro is also through after a 6-1 6-4 win over Barbara Zahlavova Stryvoca, while seventh seed Lucie Hradecka beat Karolina Sprem 6-2 4-6 6-4.
