Top seed Nikolay Davydenko made short work of opponent Juan Carlos Ferrero in the final of the Croatia Open.
In-form Russian Davydenko, ninth in the world rankings, crushed former French Open champion Ferrero 6-3 6-0 to add to the title he won last week in Hamburg.
Spaniard Ferrero had a highly successful grass-court campaign, reaching the Queen's Club semi-finals and then the Wimbledon quarter-finals, allowing him to climb back into the world's top 50.
However after losing the first set he crumbled against Davydenko in Umag.
