Vera Dushevina won her first WTA Tour title in style by dropping just one game against Lucie Hradecka in the Istanbul Cup final.

Fifth seed Dushevina thrashed Czech eighth seed Hradecka 6-0 6-1 at the hard court tournament today.

Dushevina, 22, is best known for her status as a former Wimbledon junior champion. She beat Maria Sharapova to win the girls' title at the All England Club in 2002.
