The Czech Republic's Lucie Hradecka will face Russian Vera Dushevina in the Istanbul Cup final.
Number eight seed Hradecka had a fight on her hands today, before edging past Germany's world number 61 Andrea Petkovic 6-7 (7/5) 7-5 7-5.
But it was a much easier passage for Dushevina in the second semi-final against Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky, which took just under an hour-and-a-half and finished 6-2 6-4 and would have been wrapped up even sooner had the Russian not squandered three match points.
