K-League Sunday Review

Ognjen Koroman scored in injury time as Incheon United claimed a first ever victory over Suwon Bluewings on Sunday.

Incheon thought they had taken the three points with 14 minutes remaining as Jang Won-seok bundled the ball home from close range after Yoo Byung-soo's header hit the crossbar.

But Suwon equalised seven minutes later as Ha Tae-gyun's low cross was turned in from close range by Brazilian striker Tiago.

Incheon, though, hit back as Jong Hyuk pulled the ball back from the byline for Koroman to slot home into an empty net with virtually the last kick of the game to move his side up to fourth place in the table and firmly in the hunt for a play-off place.

"This result is great for the team and the fans," said Koroman.

"All the team played to their best and managed to come out with a great result. There are lots of games remaining but I am sure that we can finish in the top six and the play-offs."

Elsewhere, Daejeon Citizen claimed just a fifth win of the season after recording a surprise 2-1 win at Seongnam Ilhwa.

Daejeon took the lead at the home of the seven-time champions through Kim Han-seob 10 minutes before the break.

Kim Chang-hyun extended Daejeon's lead on the hour mark, and despite Cho Byung-kuk pulling a goal back three minutes later, Seongnam were unable to complete the comeback.
