
Zob-Ahan went top of the Iran Pro League after Mohammad Ghazi Najafabadi's second-half goal secured a 1-0 win at Malavan.
Ghazi Najafabadi struck the only goal of the game after 68 minutes to seal the points for the visitors, who leapfrogged Sepahan into first place.
Moghavemat climbed to fourth following a 2-1 win over Rah Ahan.
Ali Mombeini opened the scoring for the hosts after just five minutes and although Milad Zanidpour levelled in the 19th minute, Shahram Godarzi netted what turned out to be the winner three minutes from the break.
The hosts also had Mohammad Iranpourian sent off early in the second half but held out to collect the points.
Elsewhere, Steel Azin lost 1-0 at home to Est-Ahvaz, Milad Meydavoodi's 41st-minute goal proving the difference in a game that saw both sides reduced to 10 men.
Mohammad Ebrahimi's injury-time equaliser salvaged a 2-2 draw for Teraktor against lowly Pas-Hamedan, Saipa beat Saba Battery 2-0 while Foolad and Shahin played out a goalless draw.
