Patriots 74 – 56 Satria Muda


The Philippine Patriots took on Satria Muda BritAma at the Filoil Flying V Arena, Philippines.

This is their second meeting, the first was on 10 October at The BritAma Arena where Philippine Patriots won 76 - 69.

Philippine Patriots started the match with Jason Dixon, Froilan Baguion, Jerwin Gaco, Val Acuna and Brandon Powell whereas Satria Muda BritAma chose Rensy Bajar, Youbel Sondakh, Christian Sitepu, Rony Gunawan and Alexander Hartman as their initial lineup.

Philippine Patriots did not waste time taking an early 9 point lead against Satria Muda BritAma n the first quarter which ended 20 - 11. The Patriots powered on in the second quarter, and by half time had a 19 point lead, ending 43 - 24.

Despite their comfortable lead, the Philippine Patriots did not slow down in the third quarter, and fully utilized every player on their 12-man roster to lead by 25 points ending the quarter 59 - 34.

Satria Muda BritAma, not intending to let Patriots have an easy win, fought back in the final quarter and reduced the Patriots lead to 18 points, but it was not enough to stop the Patriots from winning 74 - 56.

Satria Muda BritAma, who left out Theophilus Little and Nakiea Miller from today's match, instead fielded the same players for most of the match. Rony Gunawan was the top scorer of today with 11 points, followed with 10 points by Alexander Hartman who is also the current season leader with 131 points as of today's match. Welyanson Situmorang also had 10 personal points and 6 rebounds.

With 13 personal points, Philippine Patriots' Jerwin Gaco was on top of today's points table, followed closely by Jason Dixon with 12 points and Baclao Siverino with 10 points. Jason Dixon also lead the team with 10 rebounds.
