Two-time champions Al Wakra hammered Al Shamal 7-0 in the opening match of round seven of the Qatar League on Thursday.
Moroccan striker Adel Ramzi scored four goals to steer his side to third in the table.
Ramzi opened the scoring after nine minutes and made it 2-0 from the penalty spot on 22 minutes.
Compatriot Younes Hawassi made it 3-0 four minutes later and grabbed his second just after the hour, before Ramzi completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute.
An own goal from Adel Darwish and Ramzi's fourth completed the rout.
In Thursday's other game, Al Siliya registered a surprising 1-0 win against 10-man Qatar SC.
Moroccan Youssef Sifri was sent off on 33 minutes while Ismail Ali scored the only goal with 13 minutes remaining.
