Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Freiburg

Lucas Barrios gave Borussia Dortmund supporters plenty to cheer with a win over Freiburg on the club's 100th anniversary.

Barrios scored the only goal of the game in the 19th minute as Dortmund collected their fourth straight win.

Jurgen Klopp's team have not lost in 10 games and now sit in fourth place with 30 points.

Dortmund had the first chance of the game but Simon Pouplin saved Kevin Grosskreutz's flat shot from 15 yards in the 11th minute.

And the hosts grabbed the lead just eight minutes later.

Marcel Schmelzer streaked down the left wing and crossed into the middle of the area where Barrios headed home without a defender within three yards of him. It was the Argentinean's ninth goal in his last 10 games.

Both times struggled to create many clearcut chances in the remainder of the half.

Grosskreutz was fed by Barrios and tested Pouplin, who was able to keep his team in the game in the 52nd minute.

At the other end, Stefan Reisinger had space after a mistake by Dortmund's Mats Hummels but keeper Roman Weidenfeller came out and blocked away Reisinger's chance.

Three minutes later, Patrick Owomoyela sent his shot just over the bar as Dortmund had the final opportunity of a game with few highlights.

Freiburg remained on 18 points in 12th place with their second loss in the last six games.
