Dutch Eredivisie Saturday Review

Dick Advocaat claimed his first win as AZ Alkmaar boss as the defending Eredivisie champions saw off struggling ADO Den Haag 3-0.

The 62-year-old, who is also coach of Belgium, succeeded Ronald Koeman earlier this month and began his reign with a 1-0 defeat by PSV Eindhoven.

But first-half strikes from Rasmus Elm and Sebastien Pocognoli, followed by a third from substitute Maarten Martens two minutes from time, gave AZ a comfortable win today.

Sekou Cisse scored the only goal after 12 minutes as Feyenoord beat Willem II 1-0.

Bottom side RKC Waalwijk produced the performance of the day to stun Sparta Rotterdam 4-1.

The hosts had managed 12 goals in 17 games before today but were 3-0 up by half-time thanks to a double from Derk Boerrigter and Kemy Agustien's effort.

Fred Benson made it four three minutes into the second period, before half-time substitute Darko Bodul pulled one back for Sparta.
