WTA women's tennis world rankings


The latest WTA world rankings for women's tennis.

Serena Williams retains the No 1 spot in the latest women's world rankings in an unchanged top 10.

The American, who last season won her 10th and 11th grand slam singles titles at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, has 9,075 points to 7,800 for Russia's Safina, with Svetlana Kuznetsova, also of Russia, third on 6,141.

With no changes in the top 10, Kim Clijsters is the biggest mover having gone from 18th to 15.

No other player has improved their rankings though China's Na Li dropped two places to 17th while Italy's Francesca Schiavone went from 17th to 18th.
