Italy's Francesco Chicchi won a sprint finish to claim his first success in the emirate on the fourth stage of the Tour of Qatar.
The 29-year-old outsprinted Theo Boson the Al Khor corniche, the Liquigas star tucking in behind Bos as the bunch made their way towards the finish line.
Bos dropped away in the final metres leaving team-mate Heinrich Haussler to take second, with Saxo Bank's Juan Jose Haedo in third.
Dutch rider Wouter Mol retains an overall lead of nine seconds over Geert Steurs and one minute 55 seconds over defending title holder Tom Boonen of Quick Step who had won yesterday's third stage.
Edvald Boasson Hagen was the first of the six Team Sky riders home in 17th position although Russell Downing had made his way to the front of the peloton with three kilometres to go.
Ian Stannard (29th) and Juan Antonio Flecha (62nd) joined Boasson Hagen in the leading bunch and were awarded the same time as Chicchi.
