PARIS (AFP) - – Defending champion Ana Ivanovic reached the French Open second round on Sunday with a battling 7-6 (7/3), 6-3 win over Italy's Sara Errani.
The 21-year-old, eighth seeded Serbian, who came into Roland Garros nursing a knee injury, will play either Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn or Camille Pin of France for a place in the third round.
