Shadab Jakati was the star, claiming four wickets to help Chennai Super Kings steal an 18-run win over the Delhi Daredevils.
Chasing 164 for victory, Delhi looked well on course for a win at 127 for three with more than four overs to go in their Indian Premier League clash in Johannesburg on Saturday night.

But the slow left-armer grabbed the key wickets of David Warner and Dinesh Karthik, who both hit half-centuries, and went for only 24 in his four overs to bowl his team to what turned out to be a comfortable win.
Earlier, after losing the toss and being asked to bat, Matthew Hayden and Murali Vijay got Chennai off to a controlled start.
They reaching 36 in the fifth over before the latter skied a short delivery from Ashish Nehra (three for 27) and was snapped up by Rajat Bhatia at cover for 14.
His Australian partner looked comfortable at the other end, planting Pradeep Sangwan for successive fours in the sixth over. But he went for yet another boundary in the same over and was caught low by AB de Villiers at long on for 30.
Suresh Raina, who made 98 in the last game, and Subramaniam Badrinath added stability by helping their side reach the halfway stage at 77 for two.
The pair put on 66 for the third wicket in 41 balls but Raina was out to Bhatia, calmly caught by Tillakaratne Dilshan on the deep midwicket boundary for 32.
Badrinath attacked throughout his 34-ball stay, slamming four boundaries and two sixes, but, after he was out for 45 in the 15th over, Chennai's innings went astray.
The big-hitting Albie Morkel (six), Jacob Oram (three) and MS Dhoni (six) all fell cheaply as the Super Kings were bowled out for 163.
Delhi made a stuttering start to their chase with Sudeep Tyagi striking a double blow in the fourth over, removing Gautam Gambhir (13) and De Villiers for a duck off successive deliveries.
Dilshan, by far his side's most consistent batsman of the tournament, put on 33 with IPL debutant Warner, before he too was out - bowled for 13 by Jakati - leaving the Daredevils at 53 for three.
But the Australian Twenty20 specialist and Karthik began to rebuild with the 50-stand coming in 38 balls, followed by Warner's half-century in the same number of deliveries.
They put on 74 together and their side looked to be coasting with 37 required off 26.
But Jakati changed all that when he had Warner (51) stumped by Dhoni, followed by Muttiah Muralitharan bowling Mithun Manhas (nought).
Karthik raised his 50 in only 30 balls but was caught by Muralitharan off Jakati with the very next delivery.
The asking rate climbed dramatically after that and, needing 31 from the final two overs, the tail failed to wag as Chennai secured only their third win in seven games.
