Lee Chung-yong scored as FC Seoul moved back to the top of the K-Leaguewith a 3-1 win at Gangwon FC.
The young Korea Republic international helped the capital club in his last game before heading to England tomorrow for a medical at Bolton.
Montenegrin international Dejan Damjanovic put Seoul ahead after just nine minutes, shooting home after latching on to a smart through ball from Ki Sung-yong.
Kim Yong-hoo equalised for Gangwon seven minutes later with his eighth goal of the season as he headed home Jeon Won-keun's cross from the left.
Lee restored Seoul's lead just before the break with another assist from Ki and Damjanovic sealed the win with 10 minutes remaining from the penalty spot after Lee was brought down in the area.
"Our problems today were not in defence but in attack," said Gangwon coach Choi Soon-ho. "That is something that we have to work on. We made two mistakes in defence and also struggled to move from defence to attack."
Seoul boss Senol Gunes refused to talk to the media after the match.
Seoul are now two points clear of Jeonbuk Motors who picked up three points yesterday.
