Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic will sign for Premier League side Chelsea, according to MFK Kosice.
The Slovakian side has claimed over the weekend that he had agreed a four-year deal with Chelsea.
Now a £1.5million fee has been agreed with both clubs.
Matic has spent the last three seasons plying his trade in Slovakia but is now set to take on a new challenge in the English top-flight.
He was part of the Serbia U21 squad that competed at this summer's European U21 Championship, while he has also won two caps for his country's senior side.
Matic was understood to have been attracting interest from a number of clubs during the current transfer window, including Tottenham, Genoa and CSKA Moscow, but it is Chelsea who have won the race for his signature.
