Jupiler League Sunday Review

AA Gent and Anderlecht each missed the chance to close the gap on Jupiler League leaders St Truidense as they shared a 1-1 draw.

Anderlecht took the lead through Ondrej Mazuch in the 31st minute, but just moments later M'Baye Leye equalised for the visitors.

Anderlecht were reduced to 10 men with the dismissal of Mbark Boussafa in the 52nd minute, but Gent could not take advantage.

St Truidense have 17 points, with three clubs level just behind them on 14 - Club Brugge joining Anderlecht and Gent after a 4-1 win at Westerlo.

The hosts took a fourth-minute lead through Aleksandr Iakovenko. But Brugge responded with goals from Ivan Perisic, Joseph Akpala, Ronald Vargas and Rostand Kouemaha.
