Creamer to miss HSBC event?

Paula Creamer will miss the HSBC Women's Champions after aggravating a left thumb injury during the Honda PTT LPGA Thailand, according to a report.

The 23-year-old has returned to the United States to see a hand specialist to assess the severity of the injury, according to The Golf Channel.

The American first injured her hand at the Wegmans LPGA last June and she has been playing through the pain barrier since then.

She aggravated this injury during the first round in Thailand early this week and withdrew soon after.

Creamer, nicknamed the Pink Panther for her choice of attire colour, has not been lucky with injuries. She has been plagued by a mysterious stomach ailment for the whole of last year.
