Indian I-League Thursday Review

Dempo established a four-point lead at the top of the I-League following a 3-2 win over Mumbai FC.

Abishek Yadav had given the visitors a 23rd-minute lead from the spot but Dempo levelled four minutes later through Anwar before Ranty Martins put them in front three minutes into the second period, also with a penalty.

Nigerian Martins then netted his second and Dempo's third in the 90th minute before Yadav claimed a consolation effort in injury-time.

Elsewhere, Mohun Bagan leapfrogged Chirag United into third place after drubbing the home side 5-1.

All Mohun's goals came in the first-half as Jose Barreto opened the scoring with a penalty in the 17th minute before the Brazilian went on to complete a hat-trick, while Nigerian Chidi Eteh also chipped in with two goals.

Josimar netted a late consolation for Chirag.
