Asian Champions League hopefuls Al Jazira and Al Wahda played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their UAE Etisalat Cup semi-final.
Mohamad Srour gave Al Jazira the lead after 10 minutes when he was first to react to an attempted clearance from Al Wahda defender Eisa Ahmad before beating goalkeeper Adel Al Hosani.
Al Wahda went close to an equaliser five minutes later but the woodwork denied striker Fernando Baiano but the Brazilian did draw his side level 10 minutes into the second-half with a free-kick.
Elsewhere, inaugural Asian Champions League winners Al Ain also claimed a 1-1 draw at Ajman in the other last-four clash.
Argentinian striker Jose Sand put Al Ain in front after 34 minutes from the spot before Ajman equalised in the 71st minute when Ivory Coast striker Boris Kabi struck.
