Kaka will be unveiled later on today as Real Madrid’s first completed signing of the season.
Although the deal to sign the Brazilian from Milan concluded weeks ago, the fact that he was at the Confederations Cup delayed the official presentation.
The playmaker will be presented to fans tonight at a gala event beginning at 8.30pm in Madrid, where he will arrive directly from South Africa after Brazil's Confed cup victory.
According to AS, Los Blancos will unveil Kaka's squad number at Real and the Brazilian, starting a new chapter in his career after winning yet another title in South Africa, spoke to the Spanish newspaper expressing his excitement.
"I'm sure it will be an unforgettable day in my career. I cannot wait," he said to AS.
"I hope everything will turn out well and I am very happy to be flying to Madrid."
