The Utah Jazz have many avenues to explore should they choose to put Carlos Boozer on the trading block.
Boozer chose not to opt out of his contract on Tuesday, meaning he will enter the 2009-10 season with a $12.7 million expiring contract.
The Jazz are keen on re-signing Paul Milsap, and keeping Boozer for another season would be less playing time for the youngster.
Utah are also looking carefully at their luxury tax situation.
The Salt Lake Tribune listed Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, New Jersey, Charlotte, Sacramento, Washington and Cleveland as potential trading partners on Sunday.
However, the Cavaliers are unlikely to want Boozer back after he jilted them and the Wizards have said that they aren't looking to break up their core.
