
The Netherlands lead the women's field hockey Champions Trophy after beating Germany 1-0 on Tuesday.
The only goal of the match was scored by Netherlands captain Janneke Schopman.
She scored the goal deflecting in M Paumen's fourth penalty corner chance at the left post to beat Germany's goalkeeper Yvonne Franks.
The World Cup gold medallist and Olympic champions, Netherlands, looked in command all through the match.
In another match, Australia drew 2-2 with China.
The Aussies must now win their two remaining games against England and the Netherlands.
China will play Germany and Argentina will take on England on Wednesday.
