Chris Bosh poured in 27 points and claimed 15 rebounds to inspire the Toronto Raptors to a 106-104 win over the New York Knicks.
The Raptors trailed by 14 points after the first quarter, but fought they way back into the contest, Jarrett Jack making a free throw in the dying seconds.
David Lee led the Knicks with 29 points and also had 18 rebounds.
A final-quarter charge earned the Orlando Magic a 96-94 success over the Boston Celtics.
The Magic, for whom Rashard Lewis contributed 23 points, trailed by 11 points going into the fourth period, but won it 35-22 to snatch victory.
The Phoenix Suns came on strong in the fourth quarter to beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-106.
The Suns, for whom Amare Stoudemire poured in 22 points, won the final period 28-16.
