0 - Aston Villa have never beaten Wigan at home in Premier League history - they have lost three and drawn two.
0 - Hull still have not beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in any competition.
1 - Wigan have won for the first time on the opening day in the league - previously they have lost all their openers.
1 - Liverpool's Sammy Lee is the first assistant manager to be sent off this season.
3 - Three managers take charge of their first Premier League match - Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, Roberto Martinez with Wigan and newly-promoted Burnley's Owen Coyle.
4 - Fulham have not lost on their last four visits to Fratton Park, winning twice and drawing twice.
